For more than 40 years, The Dancin’ Place and White River Ballet Company have been dedicated to providing a welcoming, nurturing, and disciplined environment where every individual has the opportunity to dance, perform, and grow. We believe that everyone has the right to experience the joy, confidence, and life-changing benefits of the performing arts.
As a non-competitive dance school and nonprofit performing arts organization, our mission is to develop well-rounded artists through high-quality dance education, performance opportunities, and meaningful artistic experiences. We emphasize technical excellence, creativity, mindfulness, injury prevention, inclusivity, and the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every student.
Through our Children’s, Teen, Adult, and Stone Soup programs, we provide opportunities for dancers ages three through adult to study and perform in a supportive community. Our students participate in two major productions each season—The Nutcracker and our Spring Performance—as well as summer dance programs and Stone Soup’s annual summer musical.
Specializing in Classical Ballet, Pre-Pointe/Pointe, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Preschool Dance, and Adult Dance Education, we are committed to helping each student discover their unique potential. Whether pursuing dance professionally, recreationally, or as a lifelong passion, our goal is to cultivate confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals who carry the discipline, artistry, and joy of dance into every aspect of their lives.
